Tip of the Week: Right-click substitute
This tip is especially helpful for those of us that are often asked to help others over the phone. With novice users, the instruction to "right-click" on something will often lead to results that lead the help session astray. The next time you want to get to a configuration menu on an item, have the user click on the item then hit Shift-F10 instead of trying to explain right-click over the phone!
Headwhack of the Week: I really want to delete this!
There are times you are deleting something from your computer that you absolutely want to be gone. When you tell Windows to delete something, it simply moves it into the Recycle Bin. That means after you delete it, you must go to the Recycle Bin and empty it to eliminate the ability to easily bring it back.
The next time you really want to delete something with no Recycle Bin recourse, hold the Shift key down before you select the "Delete" option with your mouse.
